5754 Aluminium Alloy
5754 aluminium alloy belongs to non-heat treatable 5000 series Al-Mg family. So aluminium 5754 properties show excellent tread and anodizing quality, weldability, orrosion resistance especially to seawater, some chemical and polluted industrial environment. Besides, al 5754 mechanical properties are prominent in wrought aluminium. Such as tensile strength of 220 – 270 MPa. Therefore, 5754 aluminum alloy is widely used for marine, vehicle components, auto parts, welded structures, food industry, construction field, etc.
Aluminium 5754 Properties
Weldability: for example, 5754 aluminium alloy has excellent weldability such as Gas welding, Arc, Resistance, Brazability and so on.
Corrosion and Rust Resistance: similarly, 5754 aluminum alloy is also often referred to as marine grade aluminum. And this because it has good seawater and atmospheric corrosion resistance.
Cold Workability: as non-heat treated alloy, 5754 aluminium alloy can be well cold worked to produce tempers with a higher strength but a lower ductility.
